(b) Petaloid

Petaloid sepals are called calyx. Differentiated Petals are non-essential parts of a flower that help in the protection of reproductive parts. Perianth is the case when petals and sepals appear to be undifferentiated in a flower. When the perianth is non-green, it is called a petaloid.
