1 ) Miscible: Two liquids that combine in any ratio to form a homogeneous solution. Liquids which have little or no mutual solubility are immiscible. or. or. Mix 20 mL water (dyed red)

2 ) Immiscible liquids are those which won't mix to give a single phase. Oil and water are examples of immiscible liquids - one floats on top of the other.
