Answer:

natural resources are the resources which occur from nature naturally without any human invasion.. For eg - water

water cycle is the cycle followed - when it rains water accumulates after sun evaporates it.. then condensation takes place and clouds are formed after that it again precipitates.

infiltration is the process when a substance is not passed through filter paper

zone of saturation is the level where solution gets saturated when no more solutecan be added at a given temperatures.

Answer:

a:-Natural resources can be defined as the resources that exist (on the planet) independent of human actions. ... Common examples of natural resources include air, sunlight, water, soil, stone, plants, animals, and fossil fuels

b:-the cycle of processes by which water circulates between the earth's oceans, atmosphere, and land, involving precipitation as rain and snow, drainage in streams and rivers, and return to the atmosphere by evaporation and transpiration

c:-Infiltration is the process by which water on the ground surface enters the soil. Infiltration is governed by two forces, gravity, and capillary action. ... Infiltration rate in soil science is a measure of the rate at which a particular soil is able to absorb rainfall or irrigation

d:-The saturated zone encompasses the area below ground in which all interconnected openings within the geologic medium are completely filled with water . ... Unlike the phreatic zone, however, the capillary action causes the water in the pores to have a pressure that is lower than atmospheric pressure

e:-An aquifer is an underground layer of water-bearing permeable rock, rock fractures or unconsolidated materials. Groundwater can be extracted using a water well. The study of water flow in aquifers and the characterization of aquifers is called hydrogeology.

f:-Deforestation, clearance, clearcutting or clearing is the removal of a forest or stand of trees from land which is then converted to a non-forest use. Deforestation can involve conversion of forest land to farms, ranches, or urban use. The most concentrated deforestation occurs in tropical rainforests

g:-Irrigation is the process of applying controlled amounts of water to plants at needed intervals. Irrigation helps to grow agricultural crops, maintain landscapes, and revegetate disturbed soils in dry areas and during periods of less than average

h:-Rain water harvesting is a technique of collection and storage of rain water in surface (storage tanks) or sub surface aquifer before it is lost as surface runoff.
