The substances having no charge or equal number of positive & negative charge is said to be a neutral substances.

+ - = neutral

The +ve & -ve cancel out each other.

The neutral substances are at vacuum free from contact of charge particles as a charge particles came to contact with neutral it gets charged & becomes proton of neutron.

In case of chemical nature the charge having nither Acidic or Basic property are neutral substances .

Example :-

  • Salt

Sodium chloride commonly known as salt used as food articles product .

NaCl ➝ Na+ + Cl-

The +ve Na & -ve Cl cancel out each other.

  • Hydrochloric acid

HCL ➝ H+ + Cl-

The +ve H & -ve Cl cancel out each other.
