1)plasma membrane is made of lipids and protein. it seperate the cell from its external environment. it protects the internal organelles. it helps in exchange of materials. it maintain the shape and size of rhe cell.

osmosis: it is the movement of water molecules fron higher concentration to lower concentration through a semi permable mambrane. it is a biological process. it occurs in only liquid medium. it helps in exchange of water molecules and also make equal concentration inside ansmd outsiide the cell.
