Answer:

The higher the concentration of hydrogen ions, the lower the pH. Hydrochloric acid is a strong acid and ethanoic acid is a weak acid. Strong acids are fully ionised but weak acids are only partly ionised in solution. At the same concentration, strong acids have a higher concentration of hydrogen ions than weak acids.

Answer:

STRONG ACIDS

The acids which displaces more hydrogen ions to form H3O molecules are called strong acids.

The basicity of strong acids are more i.e. the number of ionizable hydrogen ions are more in number.

Acids which completely ionizes to form H30 molecules are called strong acids

Eg:Hydrochloric acid and nitric acid

WEAK ACIDS

The acids which displaces less hydrogen ions to form H3O molecules are called weak acids

The basicity if these acids are less

Acids which doesn't ionizes completely to form H30 molecules are called weal acids

Eg:acetic acid and formic acid

Hope this helps you
