Explanation:
Gobalization defined by the text is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, driven by international trade and investment, accelerated by information technology. Globalization has made more production available at myplace of employment. With the product we currently build and the demand raising in other parts of the world it is increasing production at the facility I currently work at. This has also opened opportunity for other factories around the world to be open. Because we now operate internationally HR has had to include language barriers and different education requirements to postings in those areas. HR has to consider cultures, legal systems, and business practices in each country we now operate in. How are the skills needed by staff in a strategic HRM environment different from those needed by staff in a more traditional personnel/HR environment?Skills needed by a strategic HRM environment would require the work to benefit the entire organization by aligning services that are linked to long term goals. The Skills needed by a traditional personnel/HR environment would require transactional like work ethic.
