1 ) Natural polymers occur in nature and can be extracted. They are often water-based.

2)This polymer is called polyethylene rather than polymethylene, (-CH2-)n, because ethylene is a stable compound (methylene is not), and it also serves as the synthetic precursor of the polymer.

3) A chemical reaction bonding monomers together to make a polymer is called polymerization. Some polymers are natural and made by organisms. Proteins have polypeptide molecules, which are natural polymers made from various amino acid monomer units.

The solid parts of all plants are made up of polymers. These include cellulose, lignin, and various resins. Cellulose is a polysaccharide, a polymer that is composed of sugar molecules. Lignin consists of a complicated three-dimensional network of polymers.

1. Yes, they exist in nature

2.They are also known as natural fibres (or fibers). For example - silk, wool , protein ,nucleic acid etc.

3.They are made up of many small molecules called monomer.

Example-Nucleic acids are huge natural polymers made up of millions of nucleotide units.
