1)Yes,it does as soil should be covered with plants and if not then this leads to soil fertility reduction and if trees are cut them the rainwater will directly fall on soil and this will result in floods and the another most important thing that trees bind the soil together and if the trees are only cut that will loose soil.

2) They are independent as no one is there to cut them and animals move independently taking shelter under trees,this make trees feel like home.

3)•Dont cut trees,practice afforestation.
•Practice reduce,reuse,recycle(3rs).

4)Forests structure looks as small,medium and large trees and it is horizontal and as well as vertical distribution of layrers.
