23 January, 2020. Berhampore: At around 4
AM, there was an outbreak of a huge fire at a local marketplace here. Though it was huge, the residents near this place were able to detect it and warn people to move to safety. The cause of the fire is not known yet but it thought to begin from a spark in one of the worn out electrical wires. Several sheds were burned to the ground while the local authorities are working on the remuneration issues. The whole marketplace has also been shut down for now.
