we have r = 1.4 m

h = 4 m

a)Curved surface area of cylinder =

2\pi \: r \: h

Substituting all the values we get ,

2 \times   \frac{22}{7}  \times 1.4 \times 4

=

35 .2\: m  {}^{2}

Now we know 1 pillar curved surface area

Now for 50 pillars

we multiply 1 cylinder c.s.a ×50 = 35.2×50 =

1760 \: m {}^{2}

Now cost for per meter square is given to be 10 rupees .now for 1760 meter square =

1760 \times 10

= 17600 rupees
