1. Equal amounts of calcium are taken in test tubes (A) and (B). Hydrochloric acid (HCl) is added to test tube (A) while acetic acid (CH3COOH) is added to test tube (B). In which case, fizzing occurs more vigorously and why ?

here is the ans.

the Hcl is a is a much stronger acid then acetic acid so it will react more vigorously with calcium to form calcium chloride(Cacl2) rather than acetic acid to form acetyl chloride (Ch3Coocl)
