625 =  {5}^{4}

343 = 7 \times  {3}^{2}

540 =  {2}^{2}  \times 5 \times  {3}^{2}

512 =  {2}^{9}

729  =  {3}^{6}

In the above sum, 729  =  {3}^{6} = 3 is known as base and 6 is known as exponent.  {3}^{6} is known as power. We should read it as 3 to the power 6.
