1. Find LCM &HCF : a)12,56,72 , b)36,108,212 .
2. If the HCF of 692 and 436 is 4 , find LCM(692,436).

Here is ur answer...

(1) HCF of

(a) 12, 56 ,72

12 = 2² × 3¹

56 = 2³ × 7

72 = 2³ × 3²

Therefore,

HCF = 2² × 3¹ = 12

(b) 36,108, 212

36 = 2² × 3²

108 = 2² × 3³

212 = 2² × 53

Therefore,

HCF = 2² × 3² = 36

Given, HCF of 692 and 436 = 4

As we know,

HCF × LCM = product of two no.s

4 × LCM = 692 × 436

LCM = 692×436/4

LCM = 75428

12 =  {2}^{2}   \times  3 \\  \\  56 =  {2}^{3}   \times  7 \\  \\ 72 =  {2}^{3}   \times    {3}^{2}  \\  \\  \\ hcf =  {2}^{2}   \times  {3}^{1} =  12

HCF OF

●36,108,212

36 =  {2}^{2}   \times  {3}^{2}  \\  \\ 108 =  {2}^{2}  \times  {3}^{3}  \\  \\ 212 =  {2}^{2}  \times 53 \\  \\

hcf \:  {2}^{2}   \times  {3}^{2}  = 36

2) given HCF of (692,436) =4

we know

HCF×LCM= PRODUCT of TWO NO.

4×LCM=692×436

lcm =   \frac{ 692 \times 436 }{4}  \\  \\  =  > 75428
