  • as we know area of circle :
  •  = \pi  {r}^{2}
  • diameter of circle:
  •  = 15cm
  • radius of circle:
  •  = 15 \div 2 \: i.e .7.5
  • area of circle:
  •  = 3.14 \times   {(7.5)}^{2}
  •  = 3.14 \times 56.25
  •  = 176.625

Answer:

176.625 cm sq

Step-by-step explanation:

the area of circle is pie×r×r

hence the r = 15/2 = 7.5

put the values

3.14 × 7.5 × 7.5

= 176.625 cm sq
