1. Find the area of the triangle in which
(i) base = 42 cm and height = 25 cm,
(ii) base = = 16.8 m and height = 75 cm,
(ili) base 8 dm and height = 35 cm.​

area of a triangle is = 1/2× base × height

(i) base =42cm and height = 25cm

Area =

1 \div 2 \times 42 \times 25 \\ =  525cm ^{2}

ii) base = 16.8cm & height = 75cm

Area=

1 \div 2 \times 16.8 \times 75 \\  = 630cm ^{2}

iii)base = 8dm=80cm and height =35cm

Area=

1 \div 2 \times 80 \times 35 \\  = 1400cm ^{2}
