1. Find the curved surface area of the cylinder having the following dimensions
Radius of base = 56 cm and height = 1.5 m.​

Given :-

  • Radius of the base of cylinder = 56cm

  • Height of the Cylinder = 1.5cm

To Find :-

  • Curved surface area of the Cylinder

Formula :-

\huge\fcolorbox{red}{pink}{CSA = 2πrh}

where ,

  • CSA = curved surface area of cylinder

  • π = 22/7

  • r = radius of the base of cylinder

  • h = height of the Cylinder

Solution :-

By substituting values according to the formula,

➻ CSA = 2 × 22/7 × 56cm × 1.5cm

➻ CSA = 44/7 × 84cm

➥ CSA = 528cm²

Hence, The Curved surface area of the Cylinder is 528cm²
