so domain is value of x which belongs to (-infinite to 0)(0to infinity)

and range is value of y which belongs to (-infinity to infinity)-{0}

in case if you are thinking that the graph touches x and y axis then that's not true it is asymptote it will tend towards 0 but can never be zero reson being clear 1/0 is undefined
