2. Can two numbers have 2628 as their L.C.M. and26 as their H.C.F.

1) 75 is the greatest factor which leaves common remainder 1 when it divides 76, 15,226

2) no two numbers can have 2628 as their LCM and 26 as their HCF. for this to happen , HCF should be a factor of LCM but here it can be easily seen that 26 is not a factor of 2628
