The HCF of (22 x 33 x 55) is 11.

The LCM of (22 x 33 x 55) is 2x3x5x11 = 330.

The HCF of (23 x 32 x 52 x 7) is 1.

The LCM of (23 x 32 x 52 x 7) is 66976.

The HCF of (24 x 34 x 5 x 11 x 72) is 1.

The LCM of (24 x 34 x 5 x 11 x 72) is 67320.

Given:

(22 x 33 x 55)

(23 x 32 x 52 x 7)

(24 x 34 x 5 x 11 x 72)

To Find:

The H.C.F. and L.C.M. of given equations.

Solution:

i) (22 x 33 x 55)

22 = 2x11x1

33 = 3x11x1

55 = 5x11x1

The HCF of (22 x 33 x 55) is 11.

The LCM of (22 x 33 x 55) is 2x3x5x11 = 330.

ii) (23 x 32 x 52 x 7)

23 = 23x1

32 = 2x2x2x2x2x1

52 = 2x2x13x1

7  = 7x1

The HCF of (23 x 32 x 52 x 7) is 1.

The LCM of (23 x 32 x 52 x 7) is 66976.

iii) (24 x 34 x 5 x 11 x 72)

24 = 2x2x2x3x1

34 = 2x17x1

5 = 5x1

11 = 11x1

72 = 2x2x17x1

The HCF of (24 x 34 x 5 x 11 x 72) is 1.

The LCM of (24 x 34 x 5 x 11 x 72) is 67320.
