  • GIVEN:-

Length of carpet is 3m and breadth of the carpet is 1.8 m.

  • To Find:-

Find the perimeter of a carpet.

  • SOLUTION:-

We know that,

\large\boxed{\sf{Perimeter=2(Lenghth+ breadth) }}

According to the question,

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{Perimeter=2(Lenghth+ breadth) }}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{Perimeter=2(3+1.8) }}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{Perimeter=2\times4.8}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{Perimeter=9.6 \:m}}

\large\blue\therefore\boxed{\sf{\blue{Perimeter\: of\: the \:carpet\: is\: 9.6 \:m. }}}

Length of carpet=3m

Breadth of carpet=1.8m

Area of carpet=2(l+b)

=2(3+1.8)

=2×2.1

=4.2
