Given, numbers are 4,7,8

The biggest number is 8.

Therefore, If the given numbers are pythagorean triplets, 8 would be the hypotenuse.

8²= 8×8 = 64

7²= 7×7 = 49

4²= 4×4 = 16

7²+4²= 49+16 =65

Since

8² = 64 ≠ 65

By Pythagoras Theorem

Thus, The given numbers are not Pythagoras triplets.

{\huge\tt\mathrm{Given}}\begin{cases}\sf{first \: number \: = \: 4}\\ \sf{second \: number \: = \: 7 }\\\sf{third \: number \: = \: 8 }\end{cases}

These numbers are not in phytogorean triplet.
