1. Find the value of the polynomial 5x - 4x2 + 3 at

As the polynomial is 5x - 4x + 3

therefore,

1) if x = 0 , then

5 ( 0 ) - 4 ( 0 ) + 3 = 0 - 0 +3 = 3

2) if x = -1 , then

5 ( -1 ) - 4 ( -1 ) + 3 = -5 + 4 + 3 = -5 + 7 = 2

3) if x = 2 , then

5 ( 2 ) - 4 ( 2) +3 = 10 - 8 + 3 = 10 - 5 = 5
