Solution:

Area of the right angled isosceles triangle = 1/2 * a2

Where a = side of the triangle.

= 1/2 * 17 * 17 = 289/2 Sq. cm.

Height (h) = 10 cm.

Volume of the prism = A * h

= 289/2 * 10

= 289 * 5

= 1445 cu. cm.
