Moler mass of HCl = 36.5

Molar mass of NaOH = 40

That means 36.5 g of HCl required 40 g of NaOH to react.

so, 1 g HCl will require 1.1 g NaOH

But we have only 1g of NAOH.

This means all the 1g of NaOH will be consumed and some amount of HCl will remain unreacted.

That means the result will be acidic.
