1) Give the equations of two lines passing through (3,13)
2)For what value of K the point ( k, 5) lie on the line 4x-5y =10

Here is your answer:-
1)Give the equations of two lines passing through (3,13)
Ans:- Here x=3, y=13
Ist equation :- x+y-16=0
2nd equation :- x-y+10=0
3rd equation :- 2x+y-19=0
4th equation :- x+2y-29=0
5th equation :- 2y-x-23=0
6th equation :- 2x +2y-32=0

2)For what value of K the point ( k, 5) lie on the line 4x-5y =10
Ans :- Here the x co-ordinate is k and y co-ordinate is 5.
4x-5y=10 (i)
Substituting the values of x and y in (i), we get : -
4k-(5×5)=10
Now we have to solve this equation for k.
Let's use transposition method to solve it : -
4k-25=10
4k=10+25
4k=35
k=35/4 (ANS.)
This is the value of x co-ordinate.
