1. Give the molecular formula of following compounds:
Sulphite(SO3) Sulphate(SO.). Nitrate(NO3),Chloride(CI),Phosphate(POA), Iodide(1) Fluride(), Bromide(Br)
Oxide, Carbonate(CO),Salts of sodium(Na) potassium(K), beryllium(Be), magnesium(Mg).
calcium(Ca), barium(Ba), manganese(Mn), Iron(Fe), Cobalt(Co),Copper(Cu), Zinc(Zn) and give the
colour solubility of each salt.
2. Reaction of Group I(LI,Na,K,Cs) and Group 2(Be, Mg, Ca, Ba) metals with acids.
3. Write the balanced chemical equation of Group I(LI,Na,K,Cs) metal chloride(CI) with
Group 2 (Be, Mg, Ca, Ba) metal sulphate(SO4).
4. Discuss-Hydrophobic, Hydrophilic substances.(Minimum 2 pages)
