1.Give two examples to show that water expands when freezing.

  1. every thing when freezes it expands for eg -: when glass in closed shape like cone, cylinder, sphere etc freezes dowin it breaks due to expansion similarly water also
  2. in water (liquid) its molecule are at some distance , but ice when freezes its molecules are closely tied because while freezing its force of attraction increases
