1) Hello everyone. Anyone can tell me the definition of sound properly? Also say that what is frequency and time period? Do you know relation between f and T? What is that?

2) V=f×lambda -> what does lambda represents

✔ SOUND is a form of energy which propagates through a particular elastic medium in the form of longitudinal waves. Sound always needs a medium to propagate and sound originates from a vibrating body.

✔ FREQUENCY is the number of oscillations made by a vibrating body in one second.

✔ Also, the number of waves passing through a point in one second is called FREQUENCY.

✔ TIME PERIOD is the total time required for producing one complete oscillation or vibration of particle of a medium.

✔ RELATION BETWEEN "f" & "T'' is f=1/T

✔ "V=f×lambda", ---- Here, "V" means wave velocity or sound velocity ; ''f'' means frequency of wave and "lambda" refers to the wavelength.

Answer is

..................................
What is Sound?
..................................
Sound is a vibration that typically propagates as an audible wave of pressure, through a transmission medium such as a gas, liquid or solid.
____________________
What is frequency and time period?
.................................
Frequency is the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit of time. It is also referred to as temporal frequency, which emphasizes the contrast to spatial frequency and angular frequency.
A time period is the time needed for one complete cycle of vibration to pass in a given point. As the frequency of a wave increases, the time period of the wave decreases.
____________________
Relationship between F and T is F = 1/T
