a+b = 3 and ab = 2

(1) a³+b³ = (a+b)³ - 3ab(a+b)
= 3³ - 3(2)(3)
= 27 - 18
= 9

(2) x⁴-y⁴ = (x²)² - (y²)²
= (x²+y²)(x²-y²)
= (x²+y²)(x-y)(x+y)

Hope it helps

PríyãñshûChàmølî: yes thank you so much.
