as we know ....

sum of roots = -b/a

-2+x = -1

x= 1

if x=-2

x²+x-2

(-2)²-2-2

4-4=0

x²+x-2

x²+2x-x-2

x(x+2)-1(x+2)

(x+2)(x-1)

x=-2/1
