1) If triangle RSP is congruent to triangle DEF write the one one correspondence of their vertices. 2) In triangle ABC , BE=CF where BE perpendicular to AC and CF perpendicular to AB. A) why is AB = AC?

their vertices will be equal as given under
RS=DR, SP=EF, DF=RP,
2)Now in triangles AFC and AEB
angle A = angle A....common
angle AFC=angle AEB....90 each
BC = BC .... common.
so triangles AFC and AEB are
congruent.
so now AB and AC are parts of these triangles. so these are congruent by property of CORRESPONDING PARTS OF CONGRUENT TRIANGLES. ( C.P.C.T.)
