1. If velocity- time graph of an object is a straight line parallel to the X- axis, What

will be its acceleration?

The acceleration of that object will be zero.

  • Here,the velocity-time graph is a straight line which is also parallel to the X axis. This means, the initial velocity of the object is not zero, and the final velocity is equal to the initial velocity.
  • So, in this case, no change happens in the amount of velocity, with the passing time. A uniform velocity situation is observed in this case.
