if a Matrix  of order m * n  is multiplied by Matrix of order n * k then Resultant Matrix will be of order  m * k

Step-by-step explanation:

X and Y are two matrices of order 2 X n and 3 X k respectively

if a Matrix  of order m * n  is multiplied by Matrix of order n * k

then Resultant Matrix will be of order  m * k

to multiply X  &  Y

n = 3    and resultant matrix will  be of order  2 X k

and to multiply   Y  & X

k = 2  and resultant matrix will be of order  3 X n

A and B are square matrices of order

then AB  is also a square matrix of order n

as n * n   multiplied by n * n    =  n * n

An identity matrix is a square matrix

where  1  is on the main diagonal,

0   everywhere else.

also called unit Matrix

n can take any value
