1m = 100cm

now given one side is 5 cm longer than other , so let the sides be x , x+5

now perimeter of rectange = 2(l+b)

100cm = 2(x+x+5)

50 = 2x + 5

45 = 2x

x = 45/2 and x+5 = 45/2+5 = 55/2

hope this helps , mark as brainliest , drop in a thanks
