Step-by-step explanation:

  • no.of men who like only volleyball n0(V)=4x
  • no.of men who like only football n0(F)=5x
  • no.of men who like both n(VnF)=3y
  • no.of men who dislike both n(VUF) complement=2y
  • no.of men who like only one game. 4x+3x=90 x=10
  • no.of men who like volleyball n(V)=50%of(2y+3y+4x+5x ) 4x+3y=50%of(2y+3y+4x+5x). y= 10
  • Total number of men (2y+3y+4x+5x)=140
