In an isosceles triangle ABC, with AB = AC, the bisectors of angle B and angle C intersect
each other at 0. Join A to 0. Show that:

(ii) AO bisects angle A

Answer:

1️⃣ OB = OC

2️⃣ AO is angel bisector of angle

in ∆aob and ∆aoc

ab = ac (equal sides of isoceles triangle)

angle abo = angle aco (angle bisector given in ques.)

ao = ao ( common side)

therefore both the triangle are congruent.

So ob=oc

and oa is angle bisector of angle ABC.
