In the map of a farm the scale is 1 cm to 1 m. In the map, the area of farm is shown
as 3 cm x 4 cm. Find out the actual area of the farm in square meters?​

Area of farm on map = 3 cm × 4 cm

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Now,

1 cm map length = 1 m actual length

3 cm map Length = 1×3 = 3 m actual length

or, 4 cm map Length = 1×4 = 4 m actual length

Actual area of farm = (3×4) = 12 m²

Hence, the actual area of the farm is 12 .
