Energy = Power×Time
= work done
= F×S
= m×a×S
= m×(S/t²)×S
= m×S²/t²

1 J = 1 kg × 1 m²/1 sec²

Now, in new system of units
S = 10m
m = 10 Kg
t = 1 min = 60 sec

Energy = m×S²/t²
= 10×100/3600
= 10/36
= 0.27

Hence in the new system the numerical value of 1 J will be 0.27
