This story is about pet monkey named Toto.It was a pretty monkey.

The narrators grandfather bought him from a tonga -driver. He cost him Rs5.

Toto had mischief in his shining Eyes . The narrator's grandmother fused when she saw a new animal in grandfather's zoo. A few hours later , the narrator found a change in his bedroom. Toto had removed the ornamental paper from the walls. Toto was transferred to a big cage in servants quarter.There Toto disturbed all the animals . Grandfather put Toto in a canvas kit bag while going Saharanpur. At station Ticket Collector saw Totos hand . For that grandfather had to pay Rs 3 extra for his fare.At home he was accepted and there he disturbed a pet donkey Nana.Toto did mischief again he nearly boiled himself alive in a bowl of hot water. Grandmother used to give him for bathing.Toto's mischief was continued One day, th narrator found Toto eating rice on the table. Grandmother screamed. Toto threw a plate on her. Toto caused much loss to the family. Dishes were broken. Clothes , curtains,wall papers were torn. The family couldn't bear this . So Grandfather sold Toto back to the tonga-driver for only three rupees.
