Continuous /Discrete data in the following cases :
(A) Trees in a forest is a continuous as it grow continuosly in any circumstances.
(B) Water in a container is discrete as it fixed . It cannot increase or decrease by itself .
(C) Student in a class is discrete data as it depend on the number of the students.
(D) Temperature in a room is continuous variable as it does have fractional value too. For example: Today's temperature is 30. 5 degree Celsius, here 30. 5 is not a discrete variable and hence is a continuous variable.
Hence ,
(a) continuous data
(b) discrete data
(c) discrete data
(d) continuous data
