Heya !!!

1 KG = 1000 G

According to question,

1 KG cherries = Rs 40

1000 G = 40

1 G = 40/1000

1 G = 4/100

1 G = 1/25

Therefore,

Cost of 100 G cherries = 100 × ( Cost of 1 G Cherry)

=> 100 × 1/25

=> Rs 4.

Answer:

Cost of 100g of cherries will be ₹4.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. We know that

1kg = 1000g

2. Since,

1000g = 40 \: rupees

1g =  \frac{40}{1000}

1g =  \frac{1}{25}   = 0.04\: rupees

Therefore, 1g cherries cost 0.04.

3. Now the cost of 100g cherries will be,

 = cost \: of \: cherries \: of \: 1g  \: \times 100

 = 0.04 \times 100

 = 4 \: rupees

Therefore,

Cost of 100g of cherries will be ₹4.
