1 Kg prawns =rs.150 and 1 Kg squid =rs.50 . Kalu has rs.100. he spends ¼ of the money on squid and ¾ of the money on prawns .
a) How many kgs of squid did he buy ??
b) How many kgs of prawns did he buy ??

Please give the whole solution of these question . urgently required.!!!!!

If he buys prawns by 3/4 of his money so
3/4×100=₹75
If he buys squid with 1/4 of his money so
1/4×100=₹25
According to the question 1 kg of prawns is of ₹150 so by spend ₹75 he can buy 500g (1/2 kg)of prawns.
Similarly here 1kg of squid costs ₹50 so by spending ₹25 he can buy 500g(1/2 kg) of squid.
Here is the answer to your question:
a) He buys 1/2 kg of prawns
b) He buys 1/2 kg of squids.
