M.W of O2 is 32gms.
22.4 lit contain 32gms of O2, then
1 lit contain how much. do cross multiplication.
it will be 32/22.4 = 1.42gms.

The mass of 1 liter of oxygen gas at STP will be 1.43g.

Given:

Name of the element = Oxygen

Volume of the element = 1 L

To find:

Mass of 1 liter of oxygen = ?

Calculation:

22.4 L of molecule at STP = Molecular weight of molecule

In the given case, the molecule is oxygen and its molecular weight is 32g.

⇒ 22.4 L of O_2 at STP = 32g

∴ 1 L of O_2 at STP = X g

On cross multiplication it gives,

X\times 22.4 = 1\times 32

22.4X = 32

X = \frac{32}{22.4}

X = 1.43 g

Conclusion:

Thus it is inferred that 1 liter of oxygen gas at STP will have mass of 1.43 g.
