It was a small village where a happy couple found themselves blessed to have a child;their first son. They celebrated that evening with a united family where the new born's grandparents and other relatives came too.Time passed by and the child grew older. He showed great academic and Co curricular skills and brought home many awards. It was the time of adolescence when the teenager got addicted to the wrong ways of life and started to entertain himself with the company of addictives. He started making a bad company of friends and got addicted to smoking. Not only smoking;his behaviour and academic skills also started to deteriorate. The guardians were extremely disappointed and hopeless of the situation. One day; on the day of Saraswati Puja;the boy's newly became friend caught sight of him smoking. It was time for him to prove his real friendship and he used his presence of mind to capture a video of the boy.The friend sent the video to the parents. It was a hard day for the boy following the conversations:
Father:It's even shameful for me to think that you are my boy.
Mother(sobbing)After giving my life in bringing you up ;do I deserve to see this day?
The boy had nothing to say except for a sorry. But he did not feel forty from heart and became more stubborn from that day.Noticing the change in his child the father became thoughtful and finally thought of an idea. The next morning he gave him some apples to take for his school picnic describing them to be extremely juicy and tempting. When he got back home from the picnic;the furious son demanded that the apples were rotten and that though his friends did not tell him anything directly;they were making fun of his "tempting apples"and of him.The father's reply to his son made him realise his fault. He said that just like those rotten apples,no one likes a spoilt child. He may prove to be popular in to people pf his age bit simewhere will be ubable to hsin true friendship pf those people. He warned him that no one shall trust him and that it's high time for him to think of his future. His friends may not say anything in front of him but actually are using him as a mode of entertainment without his knowledge. His selfish friends just wants his company in their wrong doings and ate least interested in his friendship. The boy realized the depth of his father's words and the shallow friendship of his fake friends. The moral given by his father proved to be very useful to the son later.
Hope it hrlps:)
