Diameter of wheel = 35 cm
Radius of wheel = 35/2 cm
Circumference = 2* 22*35/7*2
= 22*5
= 110 cm
Total Distance covered = No. Of revolution *Circumference of wheel
= 110* 4000 cm
= 110 * 40 m
= 4400 m
= 4.4 km
Now,
In second case,
Distance = 1.474 km = 147400 cm
No. of revolution = 147400 / 110
= 1340
Radius of wheel = 35/2 cm
Circumference = 2* 22*35/7*2
= 22*5
= 110 cm
Total Distance covered = No. Of revolution *Circumference of wheel
= 110* 4000 cm
= 110 * 40 m
= 4400 m
= 4.4 km
Now,
In second case,
Distance = 1.474 km = 147400 cm
No. of revolution = 147400 / 110
= 1340
