Question ➡️Mention the different types of towns that developed in India during British rule.

Answer ➡️ the presidencies ( Bombay, Madras and Calcutta) were the only cities which developed during colonial rule. The other cities did not develop because the specific materials famous in a particticular area had lost its value in the European markets

Question 2➡️Mention some of the public facilities present in most colonial towns.

Answer ➡️ Museums, Railways, Convent school, Church, Public garden.

Answer ➡️ While the planning was going on the British decided to build different areas for Indians and the British. The areas where the Indians lived were called "black areas" and the areas where British lived were called the "white areas".
