Dear Student,

◆ Answer - (3)

P = 106 atm

◆ Explanation -

# Given -

n = 1

a = 1.4

V = 0.1 L

T = 300 K

# Solution -

Pressure of real gas is given by -

P = nRT/V - an²/V²

Substitute values

P = 1 × 0.082 × 300 / 0.1 - 1.4 × 1² / 0.1²

P = 246 - 140

P = 106 atm

Therefore, atmospheric pressure of the gas will be 106 atm.

Hope that's all...
