Clearly as seen in the Pie Chart,

Savings =15%

House Rent =10%

Transport =5%

Education for Children =15%

Food =25%

Clothes =10%

Other =20%

Let Total Monthly Income of Family be x

Monthly Savings =15% of x =Rs.3000

⇒10015×x=3000

⇒x=Rs.20000

Monthly Expenditure on Clothes =10% of Total Income

                                                       =10010×20000

                                                       =Rs.2000∴Answer

Answer:

15,000 is the monthly income of the family.

Step-by-step explanation:

Monthly expenditure = 60%

Hence, monthly savings = 100% - 60%

= 40%

Let the monthly income of the family be x

Then, A/Q 40% of x = 6000

 =>  \frac{40}{100} of \: x \:  = 6000

 =>  \frac{2}{5} x = 6000

 => x = 6000 \times  \frac{5}{2}

=> x = 3000 × 5

=> x = 15,000 Ans.
