Answer:

Given:-

Area of the parallelogram is 238 cm², if Base is 17 cm then its Height is ______

To Find:-

Height of area of the parallelogram

Note:-

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

Sometimes for finding values, we usually rearranged the term from one side to another then sign is changed for example - multiple value changes to divisional value.

Solution:-

Area = 238 cm² , Base = 17 cm, Height = ?, Let Height be "x"

According to note first point~

▪︎ Area \ \ of \ \ parallelogram = Base × Height

▪︎ 238 cm² = 17 cm × x

▪︎ 238 cm² = 17x \ \ cm

According to note second point ( here, for finding "x", 17 is in multiple form with it )

▪︎ 238 cm² ÷ 17 cm = x

cm² and cm will be canceled then only cm will left and after doing division~

▪︎ 14 cm = x

Checking:-

Let's check that, Area of parallelogram = its Base × its Height or not ?

 Area \ \ of \ \ parallelogram = Base × Height

 238 cm² = 17 cm × 14 cm \ \ ?

 238 cm² = 238 cm²

Yes!

Hence, proved that Height = x = 14 cm

Answer:-

Hence, Height of area of the parallelogram = 14 cm ( Option C ).
